Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Pull-Up Club ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Pull-Up Club is designed with privacy in mind. The app collects only the information necessary for it to function. Using cloud sync and creating an account is optional: if you choose not to sign in, your personal data and workout data remains stored only on your device.

• Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive and store:
  • Your email address (or a private relay email address, if you choose to hide your email with Apple)
  • A stable identifier provided by Apple that allows us to recognize your account
  We do not receive your Apple ID password and we do not store any password for your account.
• Workout Data: The app stores your workout information and links it to your account, including:
  • Workout type and configuration
  • Number of sets and repetitions
  • Workout start and end times
  • Other technical details needed to represent your workout history
• Technical and Diagnostic Data: As described in Section 3, certain technical information is collected for error tracking and app stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your Pull-Up Club account
• To securely authenticate you via Sign in with Apple
• To store and sync your workout data using our Supabase backend
• To display your workout history and track your progress over time
• To operate, maintain, and improve the app

We do not sell your personal information. We only use your email address for account-related purposes (for example, to help with troubleshooting or important service-related communication), not for marketing emails.

3. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase (Backend and Data Storage): We use Supabase to provide authentication, database, and hosting services. Your account information and workout data are stored on Supabase-managed servers using infrastructure hosted in the AWS eu-central-1 region. Supabase acts as our data processor and processes your data only on our behalf and according to our instructions. For more information, see Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Apple (Sign in with Apple): We use Sign in with Apple to provide secure authentication. Apple processes your information according to Apple's own terms and privacy policy. You can learn more in Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Sentry (Error Tracking): We use Sentry, an error tracking and monitoring service, to help us identify and fix bugs in the app. When errors or warnings occur, the app automatically sends the following information to Sentry:
  • Error messages and stack traces
  • App version and build number
  • Device information (operating system, device model, screen size)
  • Timestamp of when the error occurred
  • Technical logs related to the error

Important: Sentry is configured to not store personally identifiable information (PII) such as your email address.

Sentry's data is stored on their servers and is subject to their Privacy Policy. We use Sentry solely for the purpose of improving app stability and user experience.

All fonts and other assets are bundled with the app and do not require network requests.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in different places depending on how you use the app:

• On your device (always): The app caches workout data locally on your device to improve performance and offline usage. If you do not sign in, your workout data stays entirely on your device and is not synced to our backend.
• On Supabase servers (only if you sign in): If you choose to sign in with Apple and use cloud sync, your account information and workout data are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. This enables backup, sync between devices, and secure access to your data.

We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) between the app and our backend, to help protect your data in transit. Supabase applies its own security practices to protect data at rest on their infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Technical error data sent to Sentry is stored on Sentry's servers and is subject to their security practices and privacy policy. Sentry is configured to not store PII.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information and workout data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service.

You can manage your data in the following ways:

• Deleting individual workouts within the app (where supported)
• Requesting deletion of your account and associated workout data by contacting us (see Section 9)

When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data stored in our Supabase backend within a reasonable period of time, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain data.

6. Children's Privacy

Pull-Up Club is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address the issue, including deleting the child's account and related data where appropriate.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data, or to restrict or object to certain processing activities.

In any case, you can:

• View your workout data within the app
• Delete individual workouts where the app provides this functionality
• Request deletion of your account and associated workout data by contacting us
• Request export of your workout data
